The "Home Feed" is one of five major sections of the Calaxy App. It can be navigated to by tapping the "Home" icon on the bottom app nav bar. The Home Feed is Calaxy's social feed, where content from you, your friends, and everyone else on Calaxy lives.
There are 3 types of content that show up on the Home Feed:
1. Posts
These are standard posts that typically contain text, and an image, video, or link.
2. Polls
Polls are a special kind of post that allow other people to vote on a selection of choices offered by the poller. Polls can be "free" or "premium" (paid). Premium polls are publishable by Creator accounts, and serve as a great way to monetize big decisions.
3. Collectibles
"Collectibles" is the term we use for NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens). Collectibles on Calaxy can take the form of pictures and videos for now, but in future may be expanded to other form factors (ie. tickets, documents, music albums etc).
People can like, comment, share, and flag post and polls, just like they would on Twitter. Collectibles can be liked, shared, and flagged.
Filtering the Home Feed
The home feed can be filtered in a couple of ways to suit what you are looking for. You can filter the content type (Posts, Polls, Collectibles, All) by tapping the "Home Feed" title in the top right corner. You can choose to see content from everyone on Calaxy, or just people you follow using the tabs at the top of the feed.
Notifications Center
The Home Feed is also home to the Notifications Center, accessed by tapping the bell icon at the top right of the feed.
